Nike Sb made an awesome promo for the release of the P.Rod lll.

They made a cool promo pack as well with a pair of all reds and a complete deck all Loc’d out on a lowrider graphic.

posted on 30.10.09 Calvin Harris, Miami Horror - Music Videos of the Week

I was pretty stoked when I ran across this video today for the new Calvin Harris single Flashback, definitely one of my favorite finds of the day.  The song is very catchy, well constructed and sure to be a dance floor killer.

I also recently became engrossed by a new sound coming from Miami Horror, who also just dropped a new single and artful video to go along with it.  Look out for the full album soon.

This video is a great synthesis of where we have been and where we are going with new media and the way it is reshaping the way we live our daily lives.

Heavy on rotation this week is the poppy sound of Chester French and their new album Love The Future.  We think you will like them too if you don’t already.  Be sure to download the Jacques Jams Volume 1 : Endurance for free on their website here, featuring just about everybody in the biz including Pharrell, WALE, Common, Bun B, Talib and a few others.

Do yourself a favor and enjoy “She Loves Everybody” in majestic video and audio formats, and a remix, preferably at a loud volume.

Working late night on a new BDN mixtape and stumbled upon this beautiful lil short animation by Kelly Meador & Daniel Elwing of Impactist.com.  Pretty cool from a design standpoint and the music plays well to the story it helps create.  BTW, did we mention we love Vimeo? Cause we do.

Music : “Cup of Water Crying (Multiverse Edit)” is from their 4-track EP “Color Fields & Wagon Wheels” available for free download here

I caught the Miike Snow (click for all BDN coverage) show in ‘The City’ earlier this week, and Jack Peñate put on a fun opening set. It is also worth noting Miike Snow stopped using an autotuner in their live performances.

Jack Peñate has definitely got an eccentric British musician thing going on, as revealed in his videos below. The ‘Pull My Heart Away’ video was shot in the same location as Indian Jones Raiders of the Lost Arc - And who doesn’t love that?

Ok, so I have been going a lil crazy with the ‘rad’ posts this week, but this one is just too good to continue in a blogosphere holding pattern.  A month or so back I posted on DC x Ken Block’s Gymkhana 2 video (watch here) that blew us all away visually.  The breathtaking slow motion videography evokes palpable levels of stoke that are becoming harder and harder to capture in extreme sports these days.  Well, by way of hype mad man Rob Dyrdek and his Fantasy Factory show on MTV, we present to you, Gymkhana 2.1

And if you thought that was great, I give you my personal favorite, Ken Block’s version of an ‘interview’ on the smashingly entertaining gear head tv program Top Gear.  Be sure to look out for dirt biker Ricky Carmichael’s cameo half way through the video.  HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
