Coming in hot is one of our favorite riders, Eero Ettala.  Fresh off a year of filming for his TV Show “Tracking Eero” for OAKLEY comes his “best video part never” to fill your shred brain with expletives like “WTF,” “Wha?” and “Saaaweet!”  BDN Stoke Certified.

The “Tracking Eero” project in his own words…

“When Mack Dawg Productions told me they were not making a video in 2009 I wasn’t sure what to do about filming for this season. I had worked on filming video parts my entire career and this was the first time that I didn’t have any solid plans. It was almost instantly that I received a call from my Oakley team manager telling me about this idea for shooting a TV show. The idea was simple, and that was me traveling the globe, riding new places and documenting it. Who wouldn’t be stoked on this idea? I gave them two thumbs up and we started planning straight away.”

“In addition to riding places, I was also going to have the opportunity to ride with all new people. Oakley has one of the best teams in snowboarding but I never even had a chance to ride with half of them because everybody is always working on different film projects. So my goal this season was to be able to ride with as many of these riders as possible and go to the coolest locations with them. This was a chance for all of us learn from each other and experience different riding styles. This was one of those once in a lifetime opportunities that you are rarely given during your career.”

“So, for me, this once in a lifetime opportunity has been made up of traveling to Russia, Japan, Canada, and all over Europe to ride with guys like Nicolas Muller, Danny Kass, Torstein Horgmo, Kevin Pearce, and Eiki Helgason to name a few. Along the way we have seen new things together, eaten some horrible food, had some of the best moments along with some of the most frustrating, talked about sharting, landed new tricks, fell on old tricks, built crazy features, found amazing natural features, flown in helicopters, crashed snowmobiles, laughed, cried and hugged. Well, I never cried but some people did. Either way, it’s been an amazing adventure and I want you to join in on it with me. Hopefully when you are faced with the opportunity of your life you will take a leap of faith like I did. Now get out there and have fun.”
