Several awesome things are happening right now:
Chris Anderson, the editor of Wired Magazine, is continuing to perplex people with innovative approaches to business. The dude is a scientist living in the business world. Scientists always piss off business people because they approach problems diferently and usually create a better solution than their b-school trained counterparts. Mr. Anderson is following up on his debut book, The Long Tail, with another highly anticipated book, Free. Free will confront the biggest obstacle for most consumers: paying money for stuff. Try wrapping your head around how companies can get rich by giving stuff away for free..We are definitely down if someone can make it work.

Chris’s day job is at Wired Magazine. They just won the American Society of Magazine Editor’s (ASME) award for General Excellence in Design. This means your eyes get a treat while your mind gets blown. A few gems from the June issue include how to make vintage speakers sounds awesome on the cheap and The New Economy with Googlenomics (More startups, fewer giants, infinite opportunity!). Go buy an issue or check it online.
